New Places, Friendly Faces

So as you all know, you're welcomed and encouraged to visit us whenever you want. Who knows how long we'll end up living here so don't put those plans off. Some friends and family have taken us on our word and have already made the trip. My Mom came in out in late January which was nice since it made leaving the East Coast that much easier knowing I'd see her again soon.

I met my sister in Vegas in mid-February and drove back to L.A. with her. The following weekend our friends Kevin and Susan came to see us and we got to see/do some stuff we probably would only do with guests... like going to Universal Studios. Susan almost got eaten by a shark, as her husband Kevin laughed about it. Good times.

Since Milton's brother, Kevin, had no plans for spring break he came out and chilled with us for the week. We took a day trip south to San Diego, met up with Meikeljon Mapes (aka: "the driver") and saw one of the semi-final games of the inaugural World Baseball Classic at Petco Park. Cuba beat the Dominican Republic on this day.

One of the highlights of that week had to be our continued attack on the Price is Right. We had to try 2 more times since our initial attempt in January, but we finally made it this time. What a process (that needs its own blog post), but we were there. Our show will be televised on April 11th, so look for us. We're about 5 rows back, just right of center.
